  1. Baada ya kupakua, fungua faili la APK kutoka kwenye arifa (notification) au folda ya "Downloads".
    After downloading, open the APK file from your notification or your "Downloads" folder.

    If you see a message saying your phone doesn't allow installing apps from this source ("install unknown apps"), tap "Settings" on that message and turn the permission on.
  3. Rudi kisha gusa faili la APK tena, kisha gusa "Install".
    Go back, tap the APK file again, then tap "Install".
  4. Ukishasakinisha, fungua Alika — akaunti yako na taarifa zako zote zitakuwepo kama kawaida.
    Once installed, open Alika — your account and all your data will be exactly as you left them.

Common questions.

I got an invitation link — do I need to install anything?

No. Tap the link you were sent, and you'll see the event details with a button to confirm or decline. That's it — no account, no app.

I RSVP'd but chose the wrong answer — can I change it?

Yes. Open the same invitation link again and choose the other option — your response will be updated.

I'm hosting an event — where do I create it?

Everything for hosts — creating your event, adding guests, sending invitations, scanning check-ins — happens in the Alika app. This website is just for your guests to RSVP, and for you to check your numbers from a browser.

How do I see who has accepted or declined?

Open the Alika app and go to your event's dashboard for the full live view, or sign in on the host dashboard here on the website to check from any browser.

What if I forgot my host password?

Reset it from inside the Alika app under Profile. Once it's changed there, use the new password to sign in here on the website too — it's the same account.

Is my guest data safe?

Every event and guest list is private to the host who created it — no one else can see or access it, on the app or on this website.
